Former scout leader David Burland found guilty

A FORMER Somerset scout leader has been found guilty of sexually abusing children over a 23-year period.
David James Burland, 54, of Ramsay Way, Burnham, was found guilty by a jury at Taunton Crown Court today (February 3).
Burland was convicted of abusing three boys and a girl between November 1987 and 2010.
He was due to be sentenced at 3pm but it has been put back until next Friday (February 10).
He was remanded in custody.
