THIS photo shows a train crash in Highbridge in 1909. An Act of Parliament incorporated the Somerset Central Railway on June 17, 1852 to run from Highbridge Wharf on the River Brue to Glastonbury.
Ten years ago FORMER pupils of a junior school in Burnham were being urged to come forward and get involved in the Queen's Jubilee celebrations.
Anyone who went to Princess School in 1952 was invited to take part in a special event to commemorate the Queen's 50th year of accession to the throne.
PLANS to increase the social housing in Highbridge received the green light.
