8:00am Saturday 28th January 2012

A TEENAGE karting ace is driving to new heights after a successful year on the tarmac.
Robbie Gallier, 14, from Lympsham, who has won multiple Honda Cadet Champion awards, made the jump to the Junior Rotax class last year.
Now, Robbie hopes he can compete in the British Championship and at least one major race abroad this year.
To help support his karting ambitions, Robbie has attracted sponsorship from Italian Kart manufacturer CRG.
He said: "This is such an amazing help, working with CRG will be so good and all I hope is I can race in the British Championship, I just cannot wait for the season to start"
